Our sensor measures sustained winds and gusts up to a steady 160mph. Response time is 0.1 seconds with a resolution of 0.25mph. It’s used to warn of imminent failure of the sheltering assemblies on awnings, umbrellas, etc. so that appropriate action can be taken.
Extensometer
This extensometer measures the tension/compression forces in its attachment structure. We use the sensor topology to gauge beam deflection for civil/industrial structural components, hull stresses in ships, crane loads, wire rope loads, and forces in landing struts for aircraft.
